I don't have a Blogger account, so I'll just respond to your post here: I think it's spot on. The whole reason we need to include sexual violence in our discussions of sex is because violence deeply pervades (women's) sexual experiences. Sexual pleasure is important, sure, but Ensler was writing about *all* the things that are overlooked in terms of the female body - of which violence is a huge part.
