So, we got this new boss at Gamestop, right before I left, and he would hit on me. Anyway, that was an aside, the point of that story was that eventually he found out that I was dating lily. So he brings it via "clever" conversation, and I'm like "by golly, I am dating her." And things are fine. Only then like, some half an hour later, out of the blue, he's all "So...do you hate men, then?"

...because clearly, if I am dating a girl, I must hate men. Clearly! I mean, that's the only explaination, right?

That was more related to your link in small font down there. I don't even know what to say on the actual topic. That BurgerKing could be so insensitive and just plain stupid is..offensive. Like, not even as a woman, but as a person. It offends me that they are that dumb. Do they understand the concept of PR? Or maybe they don't care -- they're clearly not trying to cater to a female audience.

The "check your vaginas" thing is just as awful. I don't think I could attend that class -- I had a hard enough time as it was, in classes, thinking "Oh gods, the professor is going to hate me/laugh at me because I ask questions. Or because I don't ask questions. Maybe because I sit too close, or not close enough. Because I'm taking notes, or not taking enough notes, Or..." so to think that he was going to look down on me before I even did anything, for something I had no control over...very demoralizing, certainly.
